Job Summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is accepting applications for a part-time Evening/Weekend Practical Nursing Instructor located at the West Tennessee Healthcare Instructional Service Center.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required. Must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

B.S.N preferred. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years. Teaching experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Supervise students’ clinical experience as scheduled.
• Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for the provision of clinical training.
• Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
• Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.
