About the role

Essential functions• Strong Electrical knowledge in 480V 3 phase and machine controls.• Some Mechanical and Construction ability required.• Install, repair and maintain all machinery and equipment, including electrical controls, and air / hydraulic equipment and accessories.• Design, build, erect or repair -- shelving, crating, boxes, partitions, and other special furniture / fixtures.• Install, repair, or modify air, gas, hydraulic and water lines, controls and equipment.• Plan, design, and perform the necessary operations to install, repair or modify concrete structures, flooring of all types, masonry walls, and other masonry structures.• Plan, design, construct, or modify industrial plans, boxes, and other devices made of sheet metal, or metallic materials.  Must be able to cut, shape, form, bend, fasten, solder, and weld these materials and perform other general  cleaning or maintenance functions necessary to the satisfactory operation of the plant.• Must be specialized in at least one area of maintenance to be considered for Maintenance level "A" classification.  • Spill prevention control and countermeasure, storm water pollution prevention, and proper handling of hazardous waste and materials.• Must perform the duties listed here as well as other duties as required.• Work in a team environment and must promote a positive attitude of cooperation, fairness and respect.• Must be capable of learning to read blueprints, micrometer, calipers and various other measuring devices & literature necessary to perform job.• Must be capable of learning to operate various tools and machines to complete the job.• Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure, storm water pollution prevention and Hazardous waste material disposal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years specialized training in mechanics, welding, hydraulics, sheet metals and electricity• 2 – 3 Years experience in maintenance field• Refrigerant certification preferred• PLC Programming experience preferred• HVAC experience preferred

• Factory Environment• Must be capable of successfully completing all the duties listed
