Senior Activities Aide/Coordinator - PACE (Adult Day Health)

$3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

This role will be working primarily weekdays on day shift at our Adult Day Health facility.

Develop and implement a recreational program designed to stimulate mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs and interests of assigned residents.  Coordinate staff and volunteers to successfully carry out facility Mission Statement and department goals to meet the individual recreational needs of our resident population. This position includes providing assistance in dining room during meals as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education in Recreational Therapy or related field.
• 2 years of experience in long term care.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
