As a Security Professional – Manufacturing Location - Afternoon Shift in Berea, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence at access points.
• Support Allied Universal and client management with security-related tasks and assignments as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
