THE JOB:
As Assistant General Manager at La La Noodle, you will be at the helm of a lively and casual dining experience that celebrates the vibrant flavors of Pan-Asian cuisine. Our restaurant, where mouthwatering noodles like Lo Mein, Singapore Style, and Dan Dan take center stage, is not just a place to eat; it’s a hub of energy and enjoyment. You will work closely with the General Manager to provide leadership and direction to our dynamic team, ensuring we deliver exceptional service that aligns with the MGM brand. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee staff performance, scheduling, and training, all while sharing your passion for our hit-list menu that includes everything from savory pot stickers to honey-glazed chicken wings. With an electric eighties soundtrack setting the tone, you will work to create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy a meal on our charming patio or pull up a seat at the bar for a front-row view of the action.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including budgets, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and marketing strategies to achieve profitability.
Support the General Manager with HR responsibilities such as hiring, training, coaching, recognition, succession planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements.
Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, manage feedback channels, and partner with the culinary team for seamless service.
Execute policies, procedures, training, and company-wide initiatives while upholding the highest standards of health, sanitation, and compliance.
Maintain expert knowledge of all food, beverage, and equipment related to restaurant operations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of previous experience managing in a high-volume restaurant
Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
