Position Start Date: September 1, 2026

 

Required Degree: 

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degree must be in elementary education or early childhood education, or similar, from an accredited university.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

 

Experience: 

  • Expertise in elementary and/or early childhood education classroom management (K-6).

  • Successful experience as a licensed K-6 public school classroom teacher, minimum 4 years experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Teach elementary education classroom management and practicum course (El Ed 299R).

  • Participate in university, college and department faculty meetings as requested.

  • Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university.

  • Preference for candidate who has availability to teach daytime classes (8am -4pm)
