We're looking for a BDR Team Lead to join our Sales team and help us scale and manage our inbound and outbound business development teams.About This Role
As a BDR Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of BDR’s to effectively prospect into key accounts and develop pipeline for the account executive team. The BDR team will play a key role in lead generation and serve as a critical bridge between sales and marketing, helping to optimize the development of marketing-generated leads and the generation of net new leads, ultimately setting a consistent volume of meetings with qualified prospects for the Hologram sales team.
The BDR Team Lead will start as an individual contributor with responsibilities for coaching and development of the existing team, with the expectation the will ultimately take ownership of hiring and be promoted to a first-line manager for the BDR team.

About This Role

What you'll do:
- Lead as a player/coach to build, develop, and remotely manage a team of BDRs
- Inspire, lead and create a positive and high-performance culture and environment
- Provide day-to-day coaching and professional development for BDRs
- Ensure team delivers monthly pipeline goal overall as well as individual goals
- Along with your team, you will create, nurture, and qualify leads by engaging inbound leads and performing cold email and phone outreach to prospective customers
- Work with VP of Sales to develop plan for optimization of inbound and outbound motions and a vision for the future growth of the BDR team
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and accountability
- Identify market leverage points, trends and success strategies
- Report effectively in SFDC and Looker
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, and Marketing to continually optimize conversion of inbound lead flow and execution of outbound campaigns
- Review sales calls, cadences, and emails to ensure that your team is operating effectively and improving
- Work with your team to develop new prospecting materials and targeted sales pitches
Helpful skills and experience:
- 3+ Years of sales experience
- 1+ Years experience managing, hiring, and leading a team (ideally)
- SaaS experience
- Prior closing experience preferred
- Outstanding coaching skills with a hands-on leadership style
- Passionate about talent development
- Ability to quickly assess skills gaps and develop improvement plans
- Thrives amid ambiguity in a fast paced environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience in SFDC, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with customers and prospects
- You are an advocate for numbers and metrics in managing a sales team and can intelligently identify areas for improvement
- Ability to inspire trust and confidence to coach and develop your team
- Passionate about delivering excellence and excited by the challenge of working for a business with ambitious growth targets
