PRN: Summer and winter breaks to include weekdays and weekends.

General Summary

Performs the professional functions associated with the practice of pharmacy.

Essential Functions:

  • Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignments according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and protocols.
  • Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
  • Additional responsibilities may include, providing drug information, drug therapy monitoring and medication use reviews.

  • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Must be a student attending an APCE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Required

Courses and Training:

  • Must be a student attending an APCE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills (oral & written).
