WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Analyst II- KYC EDD QC plays an integral role in the Compliance Department of CCB. This position is responsible for conducting detailed quality control reviews of the bank's Know Your Customer (KYC) Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Analyst II will focus on reviewing moderately complex customer profiles and performing in-depth analysis to identify potential risks associated with high-risk clients. This role requires a strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) practices, as well as the ability to deliver actionable recommendations to enhance the bank's overall KYC EDD framework.
RequirementsHOW YOU'LL DO IT
· Perform thorough quality control reviews of KYC EDD processes and customer profiles.
· Analyze customer information and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
· Review and assess the risk rating and risk profile of high-risk customer accounts.
· Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, AML laws, and the bank's KYC policies.
· Collaborate with the KYC EDD team and other stakeholders to address discrepancies and enhance processes.
· Conduct sample testing of KYC EDD files to assess the effectiveness of control measures.
· Stay updated on changes in regulatory guidelines and industry best practices related to KYC EDD.
· Assist in risk assessments and contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the QC program.
· Prepare clear and concise reports documenting findings and suggested improvements.
· Support the training and onboarding of junior analysts to strengthen their understanding of KYC EDD requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
· Familiarity with AML regulations, including the USA PATRIOT Act, FATF Recommendations, and OFAC guidelines.
· Proficiency in conducting customer risk assessments and enhanced due diligence investigations.
· Ability to analyze complex customer data and identify potential red flags.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with compliance-related software and tools.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Understanding of high-risk customer typologies and associated risks.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in KYC/AML compliance, with a focus on EDD reviews.
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field and/or equivalent education and/or experience.
