What impact you’ll make
As an Engineering Intern on the Power Conversion & Storage team, you will be an active contributor to the testing, certification and productization of our FLEXINVERTER, FLEXRESERVOIR batteries, and FLEXIQ control systems.
Job Description
What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with design engineers, compliance engineers, product safety engineers, and technicians regarding hardware and software design.
Audit and improve Installation, Commissioning, and Operation & Maintenance procedures for BESS products.
Review and analyze commissioning data to identify patterns, trends, or areas of concern.
Ensure that procedures align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Assist with data collection, testing, and verification activities of new products and sub-systems.
Document findings, observations, and any issues encountered.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and battery technology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A passion for renewable energy and energy storage.
Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and energy storage control systems (ESCS).
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, UL).
Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
Previous internship experience in a related field.
