Hours 

  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri) On-Site typically 4 days a week in Chicago

 

Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States can be found in the JOB INFO section below. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. 

 

As a Manager - Enterprise Supply Planning, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. 

The Manager – Enterprise Supply Planning leads enterprise-wide supply plans, aligning capacities and production planning requirements, and is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive supply plan across multiple production sites and value streams, including critical external suppliers. This role ensures optimal supply levels, efficient resource utilization, The Manager – Enterprise Supply Planning is responsible for leading supply planning across the entire organization. This role involves aligning capacities with production planning requirements and developing a comprehensive supply plan that spans multiple production sites and value streams, including key external suppliers. The planner ensures optimal supply levels, efficient use of resources, and alignment with demand forecasts to achieve business objectives and alignment with demand forecasts to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Supply Planning and Optimization: Develop and Maintain an enterprise-wide master supply plan that balances production capacity, inventory levels, and customer demand. Optimize supply strategies to minimize costs, maximize service levels, and reduce waste. Utilize advanced planning systems to create leading indicators of supply risks and recommend strategies and solutions for risk mitigation. 
  • Enterprise Supply Planning Guidelines and Methodologies: align internal supply practices (value stream planners), mitigate supply risks, and guide external supply planning with critical suppliers. 
  • Enterprise Capacity Planning: Establish Value Stream and External Supplier Capacity planning to align capacity management with business needs. Recommend inventory policies and collaborate with Inventory leadership to establish SLAs while minimizing stock and obsolescence.
  • Internal Supply Alignment: Partner with Inventory Management, Demand planners, VS Production Schedulers, Procurement, and Sourcing, and Logistics to ensure an integrated planning approach. 
  • External Supply Alignment: Partner with sourcing leadership to define the supplier performance requirements, create improvement targets and plans, and improve reliability and lead times
  • Leadership & People Management: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. Role model appropriate and professional workplace behaviors, address/mediate conflicts to restore harmony, and support a positive, healthy and inclusive workplace culture in accordance with S&C's mission, vision, values and guiding principles. Manage departmental administrative team member processes including but not limited to recruitment, induction, vacation management, performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and workforce/succession planning. Proactively establish, monitor, and hold team members accountable to clear responsibilities and accountabilities, provide ongoing performance feedback, both positive and developmental, address performance gaps in a timely manner, recognize and reward achievements, and initiate decisions for corrective actions and terminations where required.
