Location: SW Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Thursdays); Fridays as needed 6:45AM to 4:30PM/end of day
Pay: $28–$30 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable assisting with endodontic procedures while helping patients feel calm and supported throughout treatment.

Responsibilities


Assist the endodontist during root canal and surgical procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
Manage supplies and maintain treatment rooms
Support front office duties as needed


Qualifications


Dental Assistant certification required
Oregon X-Ray Certification 
EFDA certification preferred but not required
Previous endodontic or specialty dental experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with digital imaging and dental software
