THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, intellectually curious Paid Search Director to join our in-house paid media team. As a director, you will be a leader who helps our clients achieve long-term sustainable growth by combining your Search expertise with excellent client communication skills. As a subject matter expert, you should be able to confidently demonstrate to clients how your SEM strategy aligns with client business objectives. Strong candidates will have knowledge of Marin and experience with higher education campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Own all facets of SEM management for campaigns under your purview: Build, Optimize, Scale.
• Optimize to down-funnel KPIs while bidding to allowable front-end CPLs based on matured data.
• Present campaign updates to clients during weekly status calls and implement new tactics based on business needs.
• Plan and execute landing page tests in coordination with client developers.
• Strategize with account management to plan budgets, track KPIs, and set achievable growth targets.
• Identify and recommend new areas of growth to capitalize on market demand.
• Use Marin to implement and troubleshoot lead tracking solutions in coordination with client teams.

• Growth Mindset: You have a proven track record of growing SEM budgets and exceeding goals.
• Presentation Skills: You should be comfortable briefly presenting client-friendly takeaways from your campaign portfolio on a regular basis.
• Analytical Ability: You thrive in a data-rich environment and are accustomed to making SEM decisions based on a disciplined analytical process.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of relevant paid search experience.
• Hands-on experience in managing monthly campaign budgets of $500k+.
• Experience with Marin.
• SA360 experience and Google Ads certification a plus.

SALARY RANGE 

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 depending on location and experience.
