Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Integration Management to lead and oversee the integration of key healthcare systems, technologies, processes, and organizational structures.

 

This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful alignment of newly acquired entities, partnerships, or operational changes within our healthcare network.

 

The Director will drive integration strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that operational efficiencies, clinical quality, and patient care standards are maintained throughout the integration process.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Integration Strategy Development:
  • Lead the development and execution of integration plans for healthcare mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and new operational initiatives.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to define objectives, timelines, and resources for each integration effort.

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
  • Prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and mitigate risks to ensure project success. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between clinical, operational, IT, financial, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration during integrations.

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the transition process.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff affected by integration efforts, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement. 
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
  • Ensure that all integration activities adhere to relevant healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.), industry standards, and best practices.
  • Lead the development of processes to ensure ongoing compliance post-integration.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for integration success.
  • Assess integration progress, report on outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed to meet organizational goals. 

Technology Integration:

  • Work with IT teams to manage the integration of electronic health records (EHR) systems, patient management platforms, and other critical technology solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and usability.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and track the financial performance of integration projects, ensuring that integrations are completed on budget while delivering expected value and operational efficiencies. -

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of integration progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Lead executive briefings and provide status reports to senior leadership.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned from past integrations and implementing best practices for future projects.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. -

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare integration, project management, or operations management.
  • Proven track record in managing complex healthcare integrations, including mergers, acquisitions, and technology implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, CMS, etc.). 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
