Overview

Gilbane is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to be responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting for specific Divisions/Market Sectors through a consultative approach. This is achieved through the development of divisional and/or national recruiting strategies to support the current and future needs of the business. The Sr. Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. The Sr. Recruiter may also lead strategic recruiting initiatives and serve as peer coach to the Recruiter I and Recruiter II. This is a hybrid position with an in-office presence 3 or more days a week. Exceptionally qualified remote candidates may be considered, provided they are open to frequent travel and demonstrate a high level of proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Provides high-level consultation and support for recruitment and staffing management.
  • Builds targeted pipelines for "experienced hires" that draw a high-quality, diverse applicant pools to meet upcoming needs and maintains regular contact with possible future candidates.
  • Promotes diverse candidates; provides coaching and training to hiring managers and interview panels to identify and mitigate bias.
  • Knows the current events of local/national/international competitors, bringing market intel to Hiring Managers and the recruiting organization and leveraging it in the recruiting approach.
  • Leads the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and conducts regular follow-ups with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system and post openings in other appropriate venues.
  • Manage the use of external recruiters including contract management and negotiation.
  • Be an ambassador for Gilbane’s employer brand both internally and externally not only through the usage of social media but by attending local and presenting professional/industry meetings in order to develop and maintain contacts.
