Job Summary

Responsible for managing a specific pod (comprised of Advertising Strategists and Portfolio Strategists) within the Sales Development Team. Provides leadership and subject matter expertise in the sales vertical of either enterprise, retail, or automotive. Partners with Sales Development Managers, Creative Managers, and Sales Managers to help define and execute client specific strategies.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensures responsibilities are carried out according to proper policies and procedures and in accordance with the overall functional strategy. 
  • Executes against the defined sales development process for either retail or auto vertical. 
  • Facilitates sales materials and resources needs. Coordinates the distribution of sales materials and resources. 
  • Constantly educates self on either retail or auto industry and keeps up on industry changes or trends. 
  • Leads assigned advertising sales teams to understand and track schedules for major initiatives and advertising campaigns.
  • Client facing partner with Sales to represent solutions and recommendations to advertisers
  • Provides leadership to relevant Sales Development Teams consisting of ad strategists, portfolio strategists, and sales coordinators. 
  • Interfaces with Advertising Sales and other departments to coordinate campaign strategies
  • Creates work performance standards. Remains available to Advertising Sales Team and resolves operational questions and issues. 
  • Basic understanding of data analysis, with experience creating compelling stories from data.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
