What you'll do...
As an Senior Android Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for large-scale, mobile applications development and maintenance. Working on Transactions Org, impacting millions of customers order journey on walmart.com
About Team:
Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do:
Along with application and feature development,
- Work closely with the business partners to provide robust technical solutions to business problems.
- Work closely with external stakeholders on refining data contracts and managing development priorities.
- Lead fellow engineers through architectural guidelines and best practices in mobile development.
- Manage quality and application codebase for one or more products.
What you'll bring:
- Mastering of Kotlin, and Gradle
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of REST and use of external data sources.
- Experience using the state-of-the-art Android libraries (AndroidX, Retrofit, etc)
- Ability to build products with focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage
- A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment.
- A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level.
