Purpose (Why the role exists):
The Group Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales and events teams by coordinating group room blocks and ensuring seamless communication between clients, the hotel, and internal departments.

Core Tasks (What you are responsible for):
This role will involve a variety of tasks, with your primary responsibilities outlined below

• Assist sales managers with group room block management, including setup, monitoring pickup, and ensuring accurate billing.
• Act as primary liaison for group clients regarding reservation details, rooming lists, and special requests.
• Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, catering, and operations to ensure group requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records in the sales and catering system
• Provide administrative support including reporting, database management, and client follow-up.
• Ensure all interactions reflect the hotel’s luxury standards and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to work with multiple hotels to ensure accuracy of group reservations and billing set up.

Skills & Qualifications (What you need to bring):
• (Minimum 1 year of experience in a reservation, or customer service role (hospitality experience strongly preferred).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple software platforms efficiently.
• Genuine interest in hospitality experiences.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
