About the role

Description

Conifer Park is looking for a Full-time Assistant Director of operations to oversee our six outpatient clinics (Troy, Schenectady, Glens Falls, Rochester, Syracuse & Plattsburg).

As the Assistant Director of operations who reports directly to the Director, you will be responsible for carrying out the OP goals and objectives, staffing needs, direct program operations & management and maintain the clinical aspects of Conifer Park program in compliance with the standards for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals and New York Licensure.
Essential responsibilities will include:

  · Manage the operations of multiple Opiate Treatment Programs (OTP) located in the New York upstate region and within a statewide system, as assigned. 

· Integrate the operations of the OTP into the larger operations of the Outpatient Clinic.

· Manage all aspects of the OTP Operations, inclusive of medical

· Engage in strategic planning of possible new OTP locations

· Working with the Director of Outpatient Operations, set performance goals and objectives that align with the company’s larger plans 

· Closely oversee the financial performance of each OTP in close consultation with the Director of Outpatient Operations, Controller and Executive Director

· Actively supports the Director’s needs for information and assistance

· Works closely with the department Directors to ensure good communication

· Works with the department heads and Clinic Directors to ensure that the OTP complies with all CARF, OASAS, DEA, Medicaid and third party regulations and requirements

· Delegate work to employees, track progress, conduct performance reviews, and motivate team members 

· Address concerns with quality, issues between employees and other concerns in a timely manner

· Ensure employees adhere to company policy, legal regulations and oversight agencies

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC),  Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW),  alternative Qualified Healthcare Professional (QHP) or Master’s Degree in a related field. Minimum of three years of experience in operations of an Opiate Treatment Program (OTP)

Experience working with DEA/OASAS/CARF accreditation and regulations

Experience in supervisory or managerial role

Minimum of 5 years in chemical dependency with supervision responsibilities.

High level of interpersonal and communications skills to handle sensitive and      confidential situations and documentation

Strong customer service skills dealing with internal and external customers; 

Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office platform

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibility.
