About The Role
The Senior Market Manager leads commercial sales growth by driving business development, strengthening member relationships, and overseeing the delivery of customized lending and treasury solutions with local decision making. This role is ideal for a proven sales driven individual who thrives on mentoring and developing others, while serving as a key community representative for the credit union.

As a Senior Market Manager, you’ll continue developing your commercial banking and lending expertise, while building meaningful connections with colleagues and the broader community. With quarterly sales incentives, your earning potential grows as you succeed in helping small businesses, municipalities, and other commercial members grow their financial wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Commercial Loan and Treasury Management teams
- Drive business development through prospecting and networking
- Build and maintain strong member relationships through consistent outreach and support
- Analyze financial data and structure credit terms, collaborating internally on loan preparation and approvals
- Ensure effective delivery of treasury management solutions that satisfy member needs and enhance relationship value
- Represent the credit union in the community to expand visibility and cultivate new business
- Monitor commercial activity through performance, pipeline, and profitability reporting
Is This You?
- B.A. in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in commercial lending, credit analysis, and/or sales (financial services industry)
- Expertise and sound judgment in commercial business development, credit analysis, treasury management, and financial risk assessment
- Proficiency with computer applications, financial systems, and treasury technologies
- Proven success in meeting sales goals and collaborating effectively with deal stakeholders
- Established community connections and ability to travel to offsite locations/events
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Strong communication (verbal/written), confidentiality, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Positive, flexible, team-oriented individual who demonstrates professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
