As a Technician you will support the team in the development and launch of label solutions for hundreds of kinds of (custom) applications and material innovations for the world's manufacturers, converters and consumers.</strong></p><p><strong>The work covers the execution of test methods related to the properties of pressure sensitive materials. A significant part of the work includes the execution of specific product application tests to validate product performance against our customers needs. It also includes the development of new test methods and the support of pilot plant, production trials and project execution. You will work in close cooperation with the product development engineers.</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Prepare sample material according to specifications in order to test the properties of these materials.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Interpret and report data and other information of tests, in order to support the team. Test data needs to be provided with clear conclusions and recommendations.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Gauge, calibrate and maintain (small repairs and cleaning) of the equipment in order to generate high quality data and products.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Plan own duties and coordinate tasks on the work floor and to trainees, observe and discuss possible conflicts with the team coordinators to make sure the information reaches the requester in time.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Participate in product and process improvements by driving and executing new initiatives, assistance in implementing to increase the effectiveness of duties.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Observe safety and quality procedures, observe bottlenecks, make suggestions for improvement in order to secure the safety for oneself, staff and visitors and aim for a higher safety and client satisfaction.</strong></p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><p><strong>Qualification: MLO/HLO in a relevant science field or equivalent experience</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>1-3 years of work experience in a lab environment </strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Prior experience in our (or adjacent) industry is an advantage </strong></p></li><li><p><strong>High level of accuracy</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Proactive approach </strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Basic computer skills (familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet programs)</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Well-organized </strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Service oriented attitude</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Fluency in English (written and spoken)</strong></p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>We offer:</strong></p
