Job Description
The Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit (OCRU) is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Consumer Recovery Specialist to join our dedicated team in the Oklahoma City metro area. OCRU provides critical, non-hospital emergency intervention services for adults facing mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring challenges. - Providing leadership and guidance to direct care staff at OCRU and its sister facility, the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC), on a rotating basis.
- Encouraging and fostering effective communication between staff and units at both facilities.
- Conducting chart audits to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Stepping in to fulfill direct care duties as needed, making a hands-on difference in the lives of those we serve.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Shift: Evening shift
- Salary: $37,627.20 annually plus shift differentials and a generous benefits allowance!
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (substituting four years of relevant experience for a bachelor’s degree).
- Strong preference for candidates who have completed the DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Recovery Specialist certificate program.
Special Requirements:
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license at the time of appointment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
- May be required to obtain a Case Management I certification.
