You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for the District Director (Non-LEO), as described below. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. For the GS-15 level: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes at least three (3) of the following, all within a geographic jurisdiction: - Participates in formulating agency enforcement policies and strategies involving labor laws and statutes; - Participates in developing regional, district or state office plans for program operations; - Implements agency program operations on labor union investigations and enforcement activities pursuant to labor laws and/or statutes; and/or - Plans, directs and coordinates the work of Investigators.
