The ServiceNow Developer needs to have hands on experience implementing ServiceNow, specifically ITOM and ITAM. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for module/feature development in accordance with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Responsible for agile processes for new capabilities or changes to out-of-the-box capabilities as documented in user stories
  • Responsible for evaluating data load/configuration requirements, to determine if their technical skillsets and engineering practices are required to produce the solution

Requirements

  • They must be able to pass a security clearance and must be a US citizen, no exceptions
  • 2+ years of experience with Python, Java, JavaScript or a similar programming language
  • 2+ years of experience for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
  • Experience with data modeling, data structure, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
  • Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
  • Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
