About this role

Carrier Supply Chain has a role open for a Senior Manager - Global Supply Planning who will be a critical leader and member of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence. Partnering closely with S&OP(Sales and Operations planning), Supply Chain and Operations, this leader will create the strategy, establish performance metrics, analyze status, drive, and monitor actions needed to meet supply goals. Take on the responsibility to build a new Global Supply Chain Planning function in Carrier Supply Chain.

This is a hybrid role in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the Global Supply Planning function
  • Focus on planning cycle processes, metrics, data driven culture and strategic outlook for supply-related decisions
  • Define and establish Supply Review Policy, Process and Procedures
  • Work with S&OP team to refine and improve current S&OP process
  • Define the supply plan to meet current and future demand level in the most efficient way
  • Assess vendor forecast and capacity across the global supply chain
  • Establish and drive Supply Planning Review, integrate with S&OP process, identify major demand-supply gaps (i.e. shortages, capacity), evaluate options, and make decisions to close the gaps
  • Drive vendors' agreement within sourcing and supply chain areas, align vendors' demands, potential risks and actions to mitigate
  • Develop and own supply planning KPIs, dashboard and reports, enhance the capability to successfully action on internal and external issues
  • Analyze vendor delivery performance to identify and predict shortages and risks
  • Investigate ERP data and parameters, driving master data clean-up & accuracy with supporting areas
  • Lead and establish a team of specialists

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain functions
  • 5+ years leading S&OP and/or Supply Planning

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • MBA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business
  • Leading in a global, multi-site environment
  • Advanced ERP, Excel, and data analytics tools skills
  • English verbal and written communication skills
  • Inter-personal communication skills
