About the Job:

The Director of Professional Clinical Revenue Services is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of Professional Coding, provider coding education, and payer/internal audits. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of Professional Clinical Revenue Service functions to support optimal reimbursement and minimize risk. The Director monitors key performance indicators, productivity, and quality metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the end-to-end professional coding process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding practices for professional services to optimize reimbursement
• Identify and resolve revenue leakage points through collaboration with billing and clinical departments; ensure accurate professional charge capture and documentation
• rack KPIs related to professional coding accuracy and other department metrics; implement improvements as needed to enhance operational efficiency
• Monitors and review professional claims data to identify trends including revenue opportunities and ensuring 100% compliance with payer billing and coding rules
• Oversee the completion of all applicable payer and RAC audits

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field, Required
• 7+ years of experience with progressive healthcare middle revenue cycle responsibilities, including professional coding, Required
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience, Required
• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI, Required
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Required
