Primary Functions:

The Business Operations Project Manager for the College of Nursing will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects related to operations, finance, and human resources. This role will require managing multiple stakeholders across the College of Nursing and ensuring timely completion of projects to meet strategic objectives. The Project Manager will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a results-driven approach. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

• Lead and manage projects involving operations, finance, and human resources, ensuring alignment with the College's strategic objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with the College leadership team, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute project plans that address the College's needs.
• Develop innovative strategies to streamline operational processes and improve resource management, leveraging technology and systems to drive efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Chief Operating Officer to identify priorities, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
• Oversee the implementation of new initiatives in finance, human resources, and operations, ensuring compliance with higher education policies and standards.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among multiple stakeholder groups, fostering an environment of transparency and shared accountability.
• Develop and manage tools and systems to collect and maintain project data, providing regular updates and reports to leadership teams.
• Represent the Chief Operating Officer in meetings, as needed, and ensure that the interests of the College of Nursing are effectively advocated.
• Organize and execute events and meetings related to operations, including standing and ad hoc committee meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Assist in the implementation of the College's strategic vision and plan through effective project management and operational support. 
• Engage actively with faculty, staff, and leadership teams to address challenges and opportunities in resource management and operational practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of project management or coordination experience; Some positions may require project management certification.

• (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
• (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
• (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
