Job Title: Web Team Project Manager
Clearance Required: Public Trust
Work Location: Remote

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified C# Application Developer and Project Manager. You will be responsible for building and updating existing C# applications; including back and front-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

You will join a close-knit and highly technical team of web developers and systems administrators that support and provide web development to Ocean and Atmospheric Research (OAR) entities using DotNetNuke (DNN), .net, SQL Server, and other applications. This is a standard workweek environment supporting the NOAA customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop database-driven web applications using C# and SQL server based on client’s requirements
  • Present monthly contractual status reports
  • Coordinate team meetings
  • Manage a team of Prime and Subcontractors on behalf of Alpha Omega Leadership
  • Review Team Objectives and track contractually obligated team deliverables
  • Collaborate with DBA in developing views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# solutions
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Assist with maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience/Skills:
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
    • Experience with .NET framework (ASP.NET 3.5 and up)
    • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript
    • Familiarity with ASPNET Membership
    • Familiarity with ITIL Framework
    • Familiarity with PMBOK
    • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2016, experience with older versions accepted
    • Ability to communicate with clients and team members clearly and effectively about C# code built for various web applications
    • 2+ years of experience with PL/SQL
    • 2+ years of experience with creating and writing View, Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
    • Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure etc
    • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
    • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub)
  • Familiar with ASP.NET AJAX UI framework controls
  • Experience with CSS, JQuery, JavaScript
  • Familiar with Visual Studio 2016
  • 4 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server plus SSIS packages

Preferred Certification(s):

  • ITIL 4 Certification
  • PMP Certification

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $90,000- $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
