The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are initiating the ramp-up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. Amidst this exciting phase, the operational tasks are diverse and critical. Operations manage all activities related to battery cell production, within which the finance department plays a pivotal role. This unit is at the heart of all financial processes, handling responsibilities that range from the preparation of product and production site decisions to recording and analyzing all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.

Job Purpose:

As the Treasury and General Ledger Senior Expert at PowerCo Spain, you will be at the forefront of overseeing and managing the company's treasury functions and general ledger activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective cash flow management, maintaining financial accuracy, and adhering to accounting standards. Your strategic acumen and over 8 years of experience will be instrumental in formulating financial policies and processes that align with and bolster PowerCo Spain's operational and strategic endeavors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and controlling of liquidity, ensuring effective cash flow and daily account management.
• Identify financial risks and strategize their mitigation to safeguard the company's fiscal stability.
• Develop and implement robust and sustainable financing strategies that align with PowerCo's growth and operational requirements.
• Manage and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of payment transactions, maintaining financial integrity.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and report monthly to the management team, providing actionable insights.
• Offer expert support for treasury-related issues and queries, ensuring resolution and compliance.
• Oversee all general ledger operations, guaranteeing precise financial reporting in line with accounting principles.
• Direct budgeting and forecasting processes, providing critical financial insights and projections.
• Mentor and guide finance team members, promoting a culture of continuous professional development and excellence.

 

Lo que necesitas para CELL-ebrar

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, focusing on treasury operations and general ledger management.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S4 Hana or similar ERP systems for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong skills in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient analytical abilities for financial analysis and strategic planning.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
