The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Quality Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Supervising and developing hourly & non-production, non-exempt personnel.
• Identifying, prioritizing and initiating plans to achieve the operational goals of the laboratories.
• Overseeing daily operations and managing costs of several laboratories
• Actively participating in cross-functional teams and projects that have major importance to the site such as cycle-time reduction, test method validation, method cross-over, and CAPA.
• Leading projects for continuous improvement, issues management, and technology upgrades.
• Managing calibration and preventive maintenance contracts for laboratory equipment.
• Critically reviewing data and manage external, contract lab performance.

Company Vehicle

This position may require driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND four (4) years of experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 2 years of supervisory experience OR 4 years of quality experience
• Current, valid driver's license

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Quality laboratory experience
• Experience with LEAN Six Sigma methodology
• Experience leading or participating in regulatory and customer audits (cGMP, ISO, etc.)
• Proficiency in statistical methods including design of experiments, sampling plans, and ANOVA
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Minitab, and Oracle databases
