As a part time, nonexempt CPS Staff Pharmacist, you will ensure accuracy on medication distribution to automated dispensing cabinets; ensure removal of expired medications; assist in inventory management; assist in pharmacy audit functions; resolve or provide guidance to the hospital clinical staff; and maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances. This position will serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for the St. Rose Dominican West Flamingo Campus. 

Schedule: This part time, nonexempt position will work 20 hours per week (5 hours/day, 4 days/week) as well as availability to cover for others at the other Emerus sites, as needed. 

Starting Pay Range: $60-$65/hour (based on related work experience).

CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. 

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Nevada Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required): 

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity 
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• TDAP within the last 10 years
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
• COVID Vaccine-Full or approved exemption 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
