We are currently seeking full-time Warehouse Operator for 2nd Shift to support our manufacturing of medical foam used in our healthcare products worldwide. This is an entry-level position with lots of room for growth. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team based environment
The 2nd shift Warehouse and Shipping Operator is responsible for all shipping and receiving duties, as well as maintaining and organizing the inventory and warehouse space.
What you should know
- $22/hr to start (includes $20/hr +$2 shift differential) with opportunities for advancement!
- Earn up to $26/hour based on skills and experience (+$2 shift differential for hours worked between 5:30pm and 5:30am)
- Hours are 12PM – 8PM, Monday-Friday.

Your role
- Receive incoming material shipments per company policy. Accurately review and complete all appropriate paperwork and documentation. Label and put materials away using FEFO organization.
- Receive misc. shipments from UPS, Fedex, USPS, and deliver packages to recipient(s) and confirm accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and confirm shipment accuracy by coordinating with production, inventory control, and QA.
- Inspect all hazardous waste storage areas and complete appropriate documentation as required. Assist with hazardous waste removal process as needed.
- Participate in weekly support inventory checks to ensure common materials are kept in stock. Communicate any findings to Purchasing for ordering.
- Coordinate removal of all waste material(s) to include recyclables and standard waste.
- Ensure all shipments and received goods are processed using the appropriate Molnlycke Standard Work Instructions.
- Participate in physical inventory as scheduled.
- Assist with stocking and re-stocking of production areas with raw materials as needed promoting FEFO processes. Assist with putting away excess raw materials in warehouse.
- Recommend modifications to work instructions and /or procedures as necessary.
- Recommend improvements in workplace safety, use of equipment to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and improvement in production methods as necessary.
- Responsible for the safe operation of assigned tasks.
- Responsible for housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area.
- Participate in implementing continuous improvement activities, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Responsible for performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks as required.
- Complete any additional tasks as required by supervision.
- Supports the effort to implement best practices within job scope; expected to participate in activities designed to improve production, quality, and EHS.
Competencies
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software. Ability to navigate and enter pertinent data into SAP software for inventory, shipping, and receiving purposes.
