This role will accelerate Venmo’s strategic priorities by productizing platform components, driving cross platform Risk, Compliance, Identity and Customer Support solutions and serving as a strategic thought partner to vertical teams.

Risk and Core Platforms (Integrations, Strategy and Solutions team) Product Manager

This role will accelerate Venmo’s strategic priorities by productizing platform components, driving cross platform Risk, Compliance, Identity and Customer Support solutions and serving as a strategic thought partner to vertical teams.  

  • Work with product and platform teams before or during kickoff of big product initiatives to ideate, develop and cascade platform customization and transformation requirements to serve end customers better. 
  • Oversee implementation of key strategic projects across multiple platform teams, driving consistency and scalability. 
  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams across the enterprise
  • Identify and drive high-priority customer pain points requiring coordinated platform responses 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features
  • Develop and maintain tools and solutions to track metrics.   

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in a customer-facing product or feature
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent partnering skills with Engineering and Data Science teams to define and evaluate solutions and benefits
  • Solid product planning and execution skills; taking an idea and driving definition, prioritization, and execution
  • A general understanding of digital payments and the fintech industry
  • Fraud/Risk experience preferred but not necessary
