Full-Time/Day Shift

The Pharmacy Purchasing agent position assists with the purchase of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Position maintains efficient systems for ordering, receiving and record-keeping.  Researches and compiles data on use and purchases of all drugs and supplies utilized by the department.  Contacts drug company representatives and drug wholesalers to expedite back orders and ascertain status of shipment.

Required qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License 
• 1 year of Pharmacy technician or material procurement experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Completion of pharmacy technician program
• 2 years of Inpatient Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy purchasing or Finance experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
