About the Role
As a Senior Systems Analyst in the Salesforce Sales Cloud ecosystem, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are well-defined, scalable, and aligned with platform best practices. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to shape requirements, support solution design, and drive clarity across initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong functional expertise and enough technical depth to partner effectively with developers without owning full architecture responsibilities.
This role is remote within the US, but we are prioritizing candidates based in Eastern time for team alignment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to shape solution approaches that align with Salesforce capabilities and best practices
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability within Sales Cloud
- Define acceptance criteria and support QA and UAT efforts to ensure solutions meet business expectations
- Document system behavior, data flows, and functional designs to support implementation and long-term maintainability
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies, building proof of concepts and troubleshooting production issues
- Contribute to backlog grooming and prioritization within an Agile framework
Technologies You’ll Work With
- Salesforce Sales Cloud (objects, automation, security, sharing)
- SOQL / Salesforce reporting
- Flows, validation rules, and other declarative tools
- Integration concepts (APIs, middleware like MuleSoft)
- JIRA / Agile tools
- Data tools (Excel, Data Loader)
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, with at least 3 years in Salesforce
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities and standard data model
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional designs and user stories
- Experience working closely with developers and understanding technical constraints
- Experience building with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, security model)
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Past leadership exposure
Bonus Skills
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., App Builder, Administrator, Advanced Administrator)
- Experience with complex sales processes and GTM tools (Marketo, Radian6, LeanData)
- Experience working in large, global Salesforce implementations
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity
