Title: Manager, Financial Planning
The manager US FP&A will support the associate director US FP&A in driving forecasting rigor, increase financial visibility and analytics across the US business. He/She will also support the development of common practices across the US finance organization and standardize processes and deliverables to gain in accuracy, predictability and heightened levels of accountability. This position will also set the cadence for US financial deliverables and analytics and support BU Finance leaders and enabling functions. This role will also interface with Global FP&A to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, deadlines and presentations. This position will also be responsible for delivery of inputs and outputs for balance sheet and cash flow forecast
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the preparation of annual budget, long range forecast, forecasts, monthly reporting and results analysis for both performance P&L and statutory P&L for Galderma’s largest market with ~$2B net sales
- Owns timely and accurate submissions of financial plans and reporting to Global, while responsible for communication with Corporate Finance Team to explain variances and financial trends
- Partners closely with U.S. business units finance teams to drive consistency in processes, best practices and ultimately gain in predictability and accuracy
- Prepares financial presentations of various forecast, actuals with accurate information and descriptive business-oriented commentary informing a global senior audience of the financial state of the business; includes monthly presentation of U.S financial information to In-Line Committee for the Head of U.S.
- Manages balance sheet and cash flow forecasting in partnership with accounting and supply chain
- Reviews complex data and numerous details from various parts of the business, pieces them together to create a holistic picture for total US business
- Supports enabling functions and Global Business Services to forecast and analyze operating and capital expenditure budgets, forecasts, and actual financial performance for various U.S. functional areas
- Supports (individually or jointly) all financial aspects of select enabling functions including need for increased visibility and P&L accountability
- Collaborate with functional leaders to drive forecasting accuracy, improved processes and strategic decision making.
- Supports the business with special projects as needed
- Key internal relationships include US CEO, US CFO, General Managers, Supply Chain Leadership, Finance Teams, Accounting, and members of US Leadership Team
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, required; Master’s in Finance, Accounting or a related field, preferred
- Four to six years of related financial and / or planning experience within a corporate environment with proven record of accomplishment of success
- Strong foundation of accounting and experience in pharmaceutical, consumer or aesthetics industry is preferred
