Tasks and Qualifications:
As the team lead for the group function market intelligence, you will analyze our multi-layered market and competitive environment, observe/track trends, uncover them and develop market forecasts with the help of industry-relevant data to sustainably support the company's development.
This includes:
Continuous proactive analysis of mega and macro trends, market developments and competitive environment
Responsibility for Group-wide volume-based market, order intake and series planning in the IT&S segment (forecast, budget)
Responsibility for the creation, further development, preparation and commenting of market statistics
Responsibility for the preparation of macroeconomic and sectoral sections of the annual and quarterly reports of KION Group AG (Financial Reporting)
Support for capital market-specific publications and Intra-group sparring for various Group divisions (e.g. Investor Relations, R&D)
Presentation to the Executive Board, and other group-wide committees as well as events
KION Group’s interest representation of the European trade association (FEM) and the German trade association (VDMA)
Maintaining our data and knowledge sharing platforms
Disciplinary management of 6 direct reports and budget responsibility
Your profile:
A Master's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
10+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business intelligence
Mastery of state-of-the-art market research tools and techniques
Experience in team management and leadership
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior executives
A personality with drive and an entrepreneurial mind-set
Fluency in German and English is a must
Knowledge of the material handling or industrial equipment industry is a plus
