Summary

Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Clinical Services Technician (CST) performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse.  Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Clinical Services Technician scope of practice.   This individual ensures a safe, healthy environment that encourages socialization and empowerment. This position is subject to overtime, weekend, holiday and shift work, standby, and callback assignments.  

Qualifications

  • BLS
  • 1+ yrs Inpatient Behavioral Health experience or an associate degree in a Social Science field with 6+ months experience in an inpatient facility or working with chronic mentally ill patients.

 

Pay range: $23.00 - $24.18 hourly

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.

Education:

Required: 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.

Experience:

Required: 1 year of experience.

Certifications:

Required: AHA BLS.
