Job Summary:

The person will be a key member of Cat Digital’s Global Marketing & Brand organization, driving the next generation of data-driven marketing at Caterpillar. This role will focus heavily on marketing data insights, analytics, and reporting to support marketing strategies in close partnership with Enterprise Marketing business units and teams in Cat Digital including Digital Marketing Enablement & Marketing Technology/Data.

The successful candidate will combine advanced technical skills with deep business acumen to transform complex Marketing & Digital Behavioral datasets such as GA4/Big Query, Paid Media, Social combined with Enterprise BI domain warehouses into actionable insights that improve business decision making, digital properties strategies and performance. This position requires a technically sound analyst who can learn the business & marketing data flows quickly and tell data stories through designing visualization & reporting solutions that align with data quality and reporting standards.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Enterprise marketing business units’ teams to translate business questions into technical data requirements and deliver flexible, sustainable data products & solutions to support business partner marketing strategies and needs.

  • Partner with Digital Marketing Product Enablement teams to provide comprehensive web analytics in support of web domain design strategies.

  • Analyze and model complex, multi-source datasets (Digital Behavioral, Marketing, Transactional, and Master Domain) to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support the migration and integration of Business Unit specific data into Marketing Reporting data hub through building automated data pipelines leveraging SQL, Python, and cloud data services (Snowflake preferred).

  • Develop engaging, actionable, and visually compelling dashboards and reports using

  • Tableau or Power BI that support business decision-making.

  • Ensure global standardization in data quality, reporting, and user experience across the business.

  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to integrate automation, and AI-driven solutions to improve KPIs.

Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards
