BHS Corrugated is seeking a Digital Print Applications Engineer and Technical Trainer to join our growing team in our Charlotte, NC facility!
Summary:
As a Digital Print Applications Engineer & Technical Trainer at BHS Corrugated North America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, operation, and maintenance of our digital printing solutions. Reporting directly to the Digital Print Service Manager, you will be responsible for the deployment and troubleshooting of digital printers at customer sites across North America. Your role will encompass the development and execution of comprehensive training sessions for operators and service technicians, both at customer locations and at dedicated BHS training facilities. In addition to supporting the initial setup and operation of digital printers, you will provide ongoing support to sustain optimal performance post-installation. Your expertise will help ensure that customers are fully equipped to leverage our digital printing technologies effectively, enhancing their operational efficiency and satisfaction with our products.
This position requires extensive travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico at short notice to support our client base. This is a hybrid position in Charlotte, NC and requires less than 75% travel. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance of Charlotte, NC will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure digital printers at customer sites.
- Perform troubleshooting and technical support to resolve any issues that arise.
- Develop and execute operator and technician training sessions at various locations, including customer sites and BHS training facilities.
- Offer sustained customer support and follow-up post-installation to ensure continued satisfaction and performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Print Service Manager and other internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
- Conduct feasibility tests, evaluate, and optimize print quality through close collaboration with our customers, suppliers, and technical developers.
- Demonstrate strong self-motivation and initiative, consistently setting and achieving personal goals without requiring external supervision.

- This role will serve as the subject matter expert on Digital Printers for BHS service and training.
- This role demands a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure that our digital printing solutions meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico approximately 75% of the time and on short notice.
- Strong aptitude in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Team-oriented with excellent skills in collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
- Proficiency with basic computer functions, including the full Office suite.
- Ability to assist with equipment installations.
- Capability to perform independent, successful interventions.
