St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a part time recreational Activities Therapy Aide. The Recreational Activities Therapy Aide will, under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager or authorized designee and specialized Supervision of a Licensed Recreational Therapist, the Activities Therapy Aide is a skilled professional working to support or assist the efforts of a recreational therapist. They are responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, group and individual treatment. Additionally, is responsible to function well as a member of the interdisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program.
QualificationsEDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years behavioral health, social or recreational program experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Good overall interpersonal skills; ability to work productively and effectively; ability to function well as a member of an interdisciplinary team; and the ability to represent the program well in interactions with others inside and outside the host Medical Center. Neat and professional appearance. BLS Required.
