Key Purpose

 

The Senior JDE Developer will play a key role in the development, design, and maintenance of ISS/ Guckenheimer JDE applications. This position is ideal for an experienced JDE Developer with a strong technical background and a track record of delivering solutions that align with business requirements.

Ideal Candidate Experience

• Proven experience as a JDE Developer
• Strong knowledge of JDE development tools
• Strong knowledge of  JDE 9.2
• Knowledge of Orchestrator
• Proficiency in JDE integration and interfacing techniques
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and customize JDE applications, modules, and reports
• Work with business analysts and end-users to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations with other systems
• Conduct technical analysis and provide solutions for JDE-related issues, including performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are maintained
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for JDE applications, including system upgrades and patches
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system performance and optimize as needed
• Document technical designs, coding, and configuration changes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for JDE applications and solutions
• Keep up to date with the latest JDE tools and technologies and share knowledge with the team

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time 
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds 
• Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods 

** Bonus to be paid after 30 days of employment and is subject to an 18 month payback agreement
