Design Program Manager - WhatsApp, Business

Design Program Managers at Meta are passionate connectors and problem solvers. • Identify and drive large product initiatives at the organization level that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts
• Impact-focused prioritization - assess tradeoffs to propose clear solutions
• Communicate strategically & effectively
• successfully influence your audience for buy-in and feedback
• Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and impact, often contributing best practices to the discipline
• Drive progress against goals and objective
• set clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that hinder progress
• Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams
• Champion design operations and act as a trusted leader across the team & company, mentoring and sharing expertise with other team members
• Proactively problem solve and distribute information effectively
• Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives - both qualitatively and quantitatively - continuous refine and iterate to ensure usage and adoption
• Scale programs and initiatives when necessary and delegate effectively with clear expectations
• Gain in-depth product knowledge to effectively establish and contribute to product strategies

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product design program management
• Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with teams on large scale, 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution
• Experience working with product teams from roadmapping through delivery
• Experience working directly with product designers, user experience (UX) researchers, and content designers
• Experience consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate
• Experience managing time-critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a wide-range of stakeholders
• Experience with the Product Design Lifecycle, with knowledge of design sprints and workshops
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
