Position Specific Description
The Financial Center of Excellence is currently seeking a motivated college student who is ready to apply their educational knowledge to an authentic real-world experience. Under direct supervision, this position focuses on the day-to-day support of SAP user access for the entity as a whole. Most frequently, a substantial portion of this role will be devoted to providing day-to-day access support for new hires, transfers (position changes), and to work support tickets for users who are experiencing trouble with their SAP access. This individual must have a strong customer mindset, be action oriented and have strong follow through. This is an exciting opportunity for any student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Information Systems and who has a desire to grow their technical skillet and become more technically capable. Work expectations would require 20-25 hours a week in person at our Juno Beach Headquarters.
Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered, and must be actively enrolled in a college/university
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support: takes actions to troubleshoot and resolve customer access issues timely and decisively for all assigned areas of SAP, including S4, BPC, BW4, BOBJ, Supply Chain BW, SAP SRM, SAC and GRC
- Daily support for new hires and transfers access requests
- Partners with IT and other business professionals to troubleshoot and resolve ancillary access related issues
- Partners with team members to utilize best practices for SAP Governance
- Assist the other team members with technical / business role changes
- Performs other job-related duties, as assigned

Job Overview
This job performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical and accounting functions in accordance with standard NextEra Energy procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, project accounting, tax accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area. Individuals in this role may reconcile bank accounts, post information and balances in general or subsidiary ledgers, process payments and compile segments of monthly closings, annual reports, etc. either manually or via SAP.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Under direct supervision:• Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems
• Processes accounts payable or accounts receivable and sets up and maintains vendors for multiple companies
• Audits invoices entered at remote locations for completeness and accuracy, corrects errors in accordance with procedure
• Manages electronic workflow, monitors and resolves open invoice items, prepares and processes domestic and foreign wire transfers
• Creates and maintains vendor data to include IRS 1099 reporting requirements
• Interacts with all levels of employees as needed to perform responsibilities
• Works on special projects as requested
• Applies advance bookkeeping practices for project accounting
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
