The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at WashU invites applications for a Research Programmer Analyst I position in biomedical image analytics and informatics. The successful candidate will join a highly interdisciplinary team of informaticians, engineers, and imaging scientists to advance quantitative imaging and informatics applications in cancer, diabetes/obesity, and neuroimaging, spanning both preclinical and clinical studies.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement computational image processing and analytic pipelines for multimodal biomedical imaging datasets (preclinical and clinical).
Design, test, and deploy cloud-based workflows and containerized applications to support quantitative imaging research.
Collaborate with faculty and trainees across disciplines to integrate imaging and informatics approaches.
- Independently run code and conduct analysis on test cases. Evaluating the results of the tests and determining if the results are physically meaningful in nuclear chemistry.
- Create a formal report on these results and write a formal description of the code.
- Communicate the results to the PI via written reports and verbal communication.
Contribute to manuscript preparation, presentations, and dissemination of results at national and international meetings.
(Preferred) Provide project management support to coordinate imaging informatics initiatives.

$48,000.00 - $86,900.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
