Field Quality & Supplier Quality Engineer W2 Hiring

Job Description

Position: Field Quality & Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Chaska, MN (Onsite) Start Date: Immediate Interview Mode: Phone/Video

Responsibilities:

• Perform field failure analysis on customer‑identified parts.

• Verify correctness of reported quality issues.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on defective or related parts.

• Implement immediate countermeasures to support production lines.

• Segregate and measure on‑hold parts for quality validation.

• Identify and drive permanent resolution measures.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to investigate and correct documentation/component issues.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology, and measurement techniques.

• Knowledge of RCA methods and 7QC tools.

• Hands‑on experience in metrology and part manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal).

• Familiarity with electronic parts qualification and incoming part approval processes.

• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
