About the role

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Projects, Content and Data will lead a team that supports Medical Affairs and Clinical Genetic Services by delivering on clinical projects, clinical content, clinical data and scientific publications related to Natera products. They are expected to collaborate within the Medical team and across departments to integrate clinical knowledge and expertise. This position is an active contributor to the overall strategy and goals of the medical team and reports to the VP of Medical Affairs for Women’s Health PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: ·       Supervise a team of clinical managers who manage projects related to user experience tools, clinical content, data and publications that are both internal and external facing ·       Develop and improve user experience tools for internal and external stakeholders ·       Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership and scientific communications to determine clinical publication pipeline and conference abstract strategy ·       Execute on a data management strategy, including research consents, protocols, IRBs SOPs ·       Engage Natera genetic counselors, medical directors, medical science liaisons for clinical projects, abstract writing and content creation ·       Supervise Natera’s genetic counseling graduate student program and summer internship program ·       Write or collaborate on abstracts or papers involving Natera tests. ·       Deliver presentations/posters at scientific meetings and company promotional events as needed; represent company at trade shows and medical conferences (<10% travel). ·       This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job. ·       Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire. ·       Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements. ·       Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling (Board certified) or other advanced degree in a related field Five or more years of clinical and/or laboratory experience Experience with project management, clinical research and scientific writing A demonstrated ability to lead a team Management experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: In-depth technical understanding of Natera’s products Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work independently AND collaborate with team members.   Analytical thinker Motivated to be creative and brainstorm innovative solutions Familiarity with Google and Microsoft suite of work products A desire to work for a dynamic molecular genetics laboratory and manage growth for optimal success PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Job duties are performed in either a Natera office or in the employee’s home office; office space should be private and have internet access. Position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed or online material.  #LI-TR1
