Summary of Job Duties:
The Senior Managing Attorney of the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative (IFAI) is a member of the School of Law team. The Senior Managing Attorney will work closely with the IFAI Executive Director and other members of IFAI’s Executive leadership team and act as advisor and co-strategist in building the national work associated with IFAI. The Senior Managing Attorney is responsible for the daily administration of IFAI, including managing the effective delivery IFAI’s portfolio of projects and providing supervision and support to IFAI professional senior and junior staff. The Senior Managing Attorney will serve as co-principal investigator on IFAI grant projects and provide project management direction for IFAI’s portfolio of work, ensuring timely delivery of projects. Additionally, the position will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in supporting IFAI’s funding portfolio by facilitating connections with potential support for IFAI work. This position may represent IFAI at external partner meetings as well as School of Law functions, and may also collaborate with other colleagues on campus.
