Registered Nurse Full Time

POSITION GOAL

To effectively manage the care of patients using knowledge, clinical skills, judgment and decision making skills for the specific skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver exceptional patient care utilizing guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
• Review, evaluate and take appropriate action regarding results of diagnostic tests. Administer medications according to appropriate policy.
• Assist with patient care activities as required.
• Regular phone calls to advise/educate. Assist with treatment plan/education as necessary. Re-directs as necessary.
• Make appropriate documentation entries in medical management system/EMR.

Experience:

Required:

• One (1) year Orthopaedic Nursing experience.

Education:

Required:

• Education required for RN license.

Preferred:

• BSN

Special Qualifications:

Required:

• Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) and proof of insurance required for position on-boarding.
• Annual MVR may be required per policy and procedure; background reports may be ran as needed throughout the course of employment.
• Must maintain BLS certification at all times.
• Must comply with HIPAA requirements at all times.
• Must have knowledge of the health care field and medical specialty.
