As a Product Marketing Manager for the Cadent Platform, you will be a key product expert on our Product Marketing team. Your mission is to translate our sophisticated platform’s capabilities into clear, compelling, and accessible resources for our clients and internal teams. You will be responsible for creating and managing the platform content and communications that empower our users and demonstrate the power of our technology. This role requires a deep understanding of our platform's architecture and a talent for simplifying complex technical details into benefit-driven narratives.

Responsibilities

External Product Documentation:

Own and develop all external-facing technical product documentation, including FAQs and platform tutorials, in close partnership with the Product Management and Engineering teams.

 

RFI/RFP Support:

Serve as the product marketing lead for RFI and RFP responses, providing detailed and accurate information on platform capabilities, technical specifications, and product architecture to support the sales process.

 

Release Communications:

Draft and manage customer-facing release notes for all platform updates, clearly communicating new features, improvements, and potential impacts to our clients.

 

Technical Messaging:

Translate complex platform features, data models, and technical specifications into clear, benefit-oriented messaging for both internal (Sales, Client Services) and external (client, prospect) audiences.

 

Competitive Analysis:

Drive competitive intelligence from a technical perspective, performing hands-on analysis of competitor platforms to articulate and document Cadent’s key technical differentiators.

 

Sales & Service Enablement:

Create and deliver technical training materials, presentations, and other collateral to ensure internal, client-facing teams have a deep, practical understanding of the platform's features and functionality.

 

Product Launch Contribution: Collaborate with the broader marketing and product teams to support go-to-market strategies for new platform features and enhancements, ensuring technical accuracy in all marketing materials.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a technical client-facing role (e.g., Sales Engineering) within the advertising technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation (e.g., knowledge base articles, implementation guides) for a SaaS platform.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience at a DSP, SSP or CDP.
  • Direct experience supporting the RFI/RFP process for a technical product.
  • Exceptional ability to grasp highly technical concepts related to data, APIs, and advertising platforms and translate them into easily understandable content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to grammar and clarity. Demonstrated ability to produce polished written content.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required. Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, and experience with AI assistants like Agentspace or ChatGPT is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the converged TV, programmatic media, walled garden and digital advertising ecosystems.
  • A strategic, self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
